A Texas home furnishers has announced it is moving its headquarters out of the Dallas suburb of Fort Worth.
Cadence Furniture, which operates in the Dallas area, said it will relocate its corporate headquarters in the town of Fort Myers, Florida, from March 19 to July 21.CADENCE Furniture CEO Tom Pfeiffer said the move is part of a larger strategic plan to expand its business in the state and beyond.
Pfeiffers said the company will now focus on expanding its customer base across the country, and has set a goal to close its doors by 2020.
The move comes less than a year after a major merger with a bigger competitor, which will give the company a bigger presence in the area.
In the last fiscal year, Cadence Furnishers reported revenue of $6.9 million.
