A man has pleaded guilty to the sexual abuse of two girls aged between 12 and 14 in the Brisbane suburb of Blackburn, police say.

She was also a “vulnerable, vulnerable young woman” who had been a victim of child abuse, the spokeswoman said.
The victim told police she had been abused at the hands of a man who was “obsessed with her” for about five years.
The offender had a “strong desire to have sex with her”, she said.
Police say the offender was identified by a social services worker who was conducting a welfare inquiry and spoke to the girls.
The two girls were not identified because they did not want their names published.
The woman has been remanded in custody while police continue to investigate.
